about me
Richard, MSW, LCSW, RYT, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, veteran, and certified yoga teacher who brings a trauma-informed, compassionate approach to yoga and meditation through his practice, Warrior’s Respite. A fully certified iRest® Yoga Nidra instructor, he specializes in restorative yoga, Yin Yoga, and mindfulness, guiding individuals toward inner peace, resilience, and healing.
Influenced by Bruce Lee’s philosophy of adaptability and Picasso’s belief in sharing one’s gifts, Richard creates personalized sessions—offered both online and in person across Central and Southern Indiana and Illinois—that integrate dynamic movement, breathwork, and therapeutic techniques to support mind, body, and soul. With a focus on nervous system regulation and reconnecting with one’s essential nature of love and compassion, Richard empowers clients to cultivate calm amidst life’s challenges and thrive through self-inquiry, restoration, and holistic well-being.
