about me
Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University and Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati. She recently retired from forty years in the nursing profession, with over twenty years as a Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse. Her nursing practice is grounded in the nurse theory "Human Becoming" (Man-Living-Health).
Upon retiring, not really retiring, Kathryn founded Trauma Recovery and is the Chief Compassion Officer (COO). The mission of Trauma Recovery is to elevate humanity to an even more harmonious place by shepherding individuals and communities through trauma recovery.
She is a Maxwell Leadership Coach and Speaker, bringing the process of Thomas Huebl's Transparent Communication into her method of coaching, as well as her expertise in Trauma Sensitive Yoga and Trauma Sensitive Meditation.
Kathryn also spends time swimming, cycling, walking/running along the beaches of Anna Maria Island and along the bike trails of Southwest Ohio, training for new next triathlon. She is a member of Team Red White Blue (RWB), and volunteers as a yoga teacher for RWB national virtual classes. She also volunteers for the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
