Yoga Instructor

Primary Classes:

about me

Originally hailing from Colorado, our yogi began her journey with the ancient practice in the lively city of Boulder in the year 2000. As the years unfolded, her fascination with yoga deepened, becoming a steadfast companion through the unique phases of each pregnancy and the upbringing of her three energetic sons.

Upon the relocation of her family to Brisbane, Australia, she observed the scarcity of yoga in the region and felt a calling to introduce it to the community. In 2014, she embarked on her teaching journey, specializing in instructing children through Angel Yoga, followed by a comprehensive 500-hour training with Being Yoga. Her commitment extended to teaching seniors, with specific certifications from the Australian College of Classical Yoga and Pine Rivers Yoga.

Her diverse training encompasses prenatal yoga, restorative practices, meditation, mindfulness, and trauma-aware yoga. Returning to Colorado in July 2019, she expanded her expertise by acquiring the SilverSneakers certification and joined the Parkinson Association of the Rockies as an instructor in November 2021. Currently, she leads approximately 14 classes per week, with a focus on various styles tailored to seniors and individuals with mobility constraints.

The privilege of sharing the ancient wisdom of yoga and meditation humbles her, and she aspires to continually enhance her skills through ongoing training and lifelong learning. Outside the yoga studio, her interests span a spectrum of fitness activities and meditation, with a particular fondness for outdoor pursuits like hiking, skiing, walking, and cycling. Volunteering holds a special place in her heart, along with crafting delicious and nutritious meals, indulging in reading, exploring new places, and cherishing moments with her adorable and lively family. And, truth be told, she finds solace in unwinding with a guilty pleasure of mindless TV in the evenings to decompress from the day's demands
