about me
Cynthia is a graduate of Occupational Therapy from the College of St Catherine class of 1990 with a specialty interest in pediatrics. She has thirty-plus years of experience working with diverse ages, cultures, gender identities, physical and mental diagnoses, and medical settings.
She has promoted occupational therapy and published wellness articles for Valley Hospital newspaper in the Matanuska Susitna Valley of Alaska. She was a Lead Occupational therapist in the Transitional Care Unit at The University of Minnesota and is proactive in clinical program development, staff education, and mentoring. Her eclectic interest and study of medical and holistic modalities that heal the mind and body continue to refine her skills as a practitioner.
She currently offers breathwork, meditation, mindfulness training, therapeutic movement, and iRest Yoga Nidra to groups and in an independent setting. In her personal time, she enjoys the arts, a range of physical activities, and cooking with friends and family.
