Mike began his yogic journey in 2015. While training for his 3rd Marine Corps Marathon he needed to relieve some running injuries in his IT bands, feet and legs and explored an Alignment Focus Yoga class.
With the new found success of yoga, Mike went on to become a yoga instructor completing his 200 hour RYT in 2017 and his 300 hour RYT in Post-Traumatic Growth and Ayurvedic Medicine through Vetoga in June 2020.
Mike continuously improves his skills by studying with respected teachers to learn different forms of yoga. Mike is currently studying under Sri Dharma Mittra to learn a restorative form of yoga based in Ayurvedic principles.
Mike provides yoga to our military members and first responders as he continues down his yogic path. His classes are a blend of Dharma Yoga with Yoga Nidra (Sleep based Meditation). Mike brings a smile and beaming huge heart to his practice by providing his light that he has found through yoga practice.
Mike also served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1998-2003 both in the continental United States and abroad.
