Step by step instructions to get you started.

USER REGISTRATION

  1. Go to veteransfirst.sofiahealth.com

  2. Select 'Register'.

  3. Complete user registration.

    1.  Enter any email you wish to register. Does not need to be a VA email

  4. You will be redirected to thank you page. 

You will receive an email confirmation when your registration has been processed. Please allow up to 24 hrs.

 

If your VA sponsors the program, this will give you access to free, unlimited classes.

While you wait, visit the Virtual Classes page to see what classes are available.

Sign Up: User Registration

LOGIN & SCHEDULE

You will receive an email confirmation when your registration has been processed.

  1. Go to veteransfirst.sofiahealth.com

  2. Select 'Classes' from the main menu.

  3. Login: (2 ways to login)

    • A. Login via top right corner in the browser

    • B. Or login via 'My Account' at top of the calendar

  4. Enter username (email) and password. Select Sign In.

Once you are signed in. You can close the account window and start signing up for classes.

Classes will not be free until you have your membership pass associated with your account. To see how to find this in your account, visit the Membership Pass help section.

Login

SCHEDULE CLASSES

From your laptop or desktop:

To schedule a class, simply select the date, choose from the available classes, and select sign up!

  1. From the Virtual Class page, choose the date you want to attend class.

  2. From the available classes listed, select 'Sign Up' next to the class(es) you want to join. 

  3. Select 'Next'​

You will be redirected to a thank you page. Select the option to 'book more classes' if you would like to go back and sign up for more!

Schedule Classes

From the web browser on your cell phone:

Once you login through Veterans First website, you are in the account pages.

 

  1. To schedule classes, retype the website URL veteransfirst.sofiahealth.com

  2. Select 'Login' and retype your username and password

  3. Click on 'Sign In' and you will be taken to the scheduling page

  4. Select 'Continue' to see available classes and follow the steps in the above section to complete your booking.

VIEW YOUR SCHEDULED CLASSES

To view your scheduled classes, from the virtual classes page, select 'My Account' on the top right of the calendar. Then click on 'Schedule' to view all classes you are signed up for.

  1. Go to veteransfirst.sofiahealth.com

  2. Select 'Virtual Classes' from the main menu.

  3. Select 'My Account'​ on the top right of the calendar.

  4. Select 'Schedule' to view your upcoming classes.

Each time a class is scheduled, you will receive an email confirmation with a link to your virtual class.

 

If text notifications are turned on - you will get a text reminder before class.

View Scheduled Classes

VIEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP PASS

To get unlimited access to the scheduled Sofia Health classes, you must be enrolled with a registered organization. Once enrolled, you will be assigned a pass that gives you unlimited access.

  1. Go to veteransfirst.sofiahealth.com

  2. Select 'Virtual Classes' from the main menu.

  3. Select 'My Account'​ on the top right of the calendar.

  4. Select 'Passes' to view your upcoming classes.

ZOOM

To get unlimited access to the scheduled Sofia Health classes, you must be enrolled with a registered organization. Once enrolled, you will be assigned a pass that gives you unlimited access.

There are two ways to join the class via Zoom.

1) Click the link provided in your confirmation email or text.

  • This will take you directly into the Zoom waiting room.

  • The instructor will let you in before it is time to start class.

  • Be sure to turn your camera on.

  • If your microphone is on, be sure there is not a lot of background noise.

  • You can always mute yourself and unmute if/when you need the instructor's attention.

 

Or

2) Use the meeting ID and passcode provided in your confirmation email or text.

  • Start by opening the Zoom app and selecting 'Join'.

  • Enter the Meeting ID provided in your confirmation message.

  • You can add your name - this will show up on the bottom of your video during class.

  • Be sure the two boxes under your name are NOT checked.

  • When you are ready, click 'Join'.

  • Enter the passcode provided in your confirmation message

  • When you are ready, click 'Join Meeting'.
